“Rosh Hashanah: Introspection is Not Shofar Away”

UUCSS member Jeremy Holt says, “What can we learn from the traditions of Rosh Hashanah, and how do they fit with our UU Values. Spoiler alert: they fit perfectly!”

Two worship services are offered most Sundays at 9:30 am and 11:30 am, except during the summer months, the Sunday of our annual church retreat, the Sunday after Thanksgiving, the Sunday between Christmas and New Years, and Memorial Day weekend, when we offer just one service at 10:30 am. Coffee hour takes place between the two services.

ASL and Religious Education

  • American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services are provided at the 11:30 a.m. service.
  • Nursery care is provided by professional staff during both our 9:30 am and 11:30 am Sunday services.
  • We offer Preschool thru 8th Grade RE Programming during both the 9:30 and 11:30 services.
  • High Schoolers participate in YRUU (Young Religious Unitarian Universalists), which meets most Sunday mornings at 11:30.

During the summer months, we offer just one service at 10:30 am. Nursery care and ASL interpreting services are provided during this service. Other Children Religious Education programming is available during the summer months. Please contact DRE@uucss.org for details.
