“When Time and History Collide and Inspire”
There will be a Time for All Ages for children on the topic given by Director of Religious Education, The Rev. Catherine Boyle at the beginning of the service before the children leave for their own program.
The Rev. Preston K. Mears, Jr., a member of UUCSS and an ordained Episcopal Priest will be our preacher. Consistent with our summer worship theme of who inspires us and what sustains us, he will share how coming of age in the 60’s inspired him and how that time and the people in his life encourage him to be involved and hopeful in this time of 2018. People and friends learned that by holding hands so they could move, not in a closed circle, but into a better future—now is the time!
At least through August 2018 we will have one worship service at 10:30 am. We are in the midst of evaluating feedback from the congregation on service schedule to determine what direction to go in the fall and going forward. Coffee hour will take place after the service.
