Jeffrey Noel-Nosbaum, UUCSS member and member of the lay worship team, will revisit his first sermon, which was delivered five years ago here at UUCSS, entitled “Universal Love”.
The services for June and July are being delivered mostly by members of the church with a guest preacher or two as well. Our theme for these services is “Learning to Love”
Many aspects of loving others do not come naturally to us. So what pathways do we follow as we learn how to affirm those in our lives for who they are and what they can be? What do we do when we encounter difference, or changes that occur through time and circumstance? And expanding further, what is the path we take when a practice or passion calls to us?
Two worship services are offered most Sundays at 9:30 am and 11:30 am, except during the summer months, the Sunday of our annual church retreat, the Sunday after Thanksgiving, the Sunday between Christmas and New Years, and Memorial Day weekend, when we offer just one service at 10:30 am. Coffee hour takes place between the two services.
