Join us to celebrate the release of the Joshua Espinoza Trio’s debut CD, “Journey Into Night.” Featuring unique interpretations of standards and pop hits and Espinoza’s haunting original compositions, the group combines the aesthetic of a chamber ensemble with the improvisational artistry of a jazz trio, taking listeners on a journey for the ears and mind alike. Baltimore pianist Joshua Espinoza blends and bends genres into original compositions and arrangements that are immediately relatable, yet hard to define.

A finalist in the 2018 Ellis Marsalis International Jazz Piano Competition, Joshua is current faculty member of the renowned Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University. His playing has been heard on stages large and small including the Piccolo Spoleto Festival, The Kennedy Center, the Barns at Wolftrap, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and the DC Jazz Festival.
