One of the key missions of a church is to raise young people to be engaged, healthy members of our community. The ways we do this, the specific targets we work towards change, but the goal never changes; raising new Unitarian Universalists.
Rev. Christian Schmidt, guest preaching. BIO Rev. Christian Schmidt currently serves as Interim Minister at the Mount Vernon Unitarian Church in Alexandria, VA and owns his own small business specializing in tax preparation for clergy. Rev. Christian is a Texas native, a University of Houston grad, and a proud feminist. He earned his Master of Divinity at Andover Newton and since then has served congregations in Massachusetts, New Jersey, California, Texas, Maryland, and Virginia. He enjoys sports, reading, watching Modern Family, and spending time with his family.
