Unitarian Universalist tradition calls us both to immerse ourselves in love and gratitude and to seek ways to relieve suffering, to incite change for the better. Somewhere in the dynamic, changing center of our living faith, we can find a balance between loving in the midst of what is and reaching together for what can be. Our own inner voices and collective wisdom are important in meeting this challenge, and we can find suggestions in the literature of our heritage that may be helpful.
