Want to get your summer off to a great start with UUCSS friends at beautiful Elk Neck State Park?  Come camping with us June 1-3. We’ll have fun getting to know each other better while hiking, swimming at the large beach, playing games, enjoying the playground, or just relaxing by the campfire.The trip is sponsored by UUCSS Families LUUV (Living our UU Values) group, but all church members and friends — singles, couples, triples, tribes, dynasties, hordes — are welcome!

The park is located in Cecil County at 4395 Turkey Point Rd, North East, MD 21901, 90 miles from Silver Spring near the Delaware border. We are staying the youth campsite named “Beaver.” If you have not been on one of these trips before, you’ll need basic camping gear, but all food is organized by meal coordinators.  Each person helps out with setup or cleanup on a meal or two, and helps with some other tasks (such as fetching water, building the fire, or keeping the kids from eating all the chocolate bars before s’more time).
